Sunrise Chapel Des Moines offers officiant services onsite in our little chapel, locally within the Des Moines area, and will even travel to you for a fee (see the Costs & Discounts page). The onsite chapel is also available for ceremonies if you elect to bring your own minister/pastor.

Are you already married and want to reignite that spark, or did you recover from a bumpy road and want to try starting over on your marriage? We also offer vow renewals in our quaint little chapel, so feel free to give me a call.

For the weddings, if you choose, couples have the complete flexibility to write their own vows and make any changes they wish to the ceremony; it is your day and should reflect exactly who you both are.

Are you and your friends/family wanting to get married at the same time? We offer double wedding services as well. Since this reflects a unique, vintage style ceremony, this style of wedding is done frequently for very close family/friends who want to share their special day with each other. Please call for details.

Since the onsite chapel is small by design, we do not offer a vocalist or photographer, however you are welcome to bring any photographer of your choosing. Although we are not professional photographers, we will be happy to take a photo with your camera.

Small floral arrangements may be brought in for your ceremony but must be removed at the conclusion of the ceremony. Any arrangements left behind will become the property of the chapel; we do not reimburse for arrangements left behind.

Please come ready for your ceremony. Restrooms are available but are very limited.

All bookings include unlimited communication via email and phone. I do offer 1 free meeting prior to the date of the ceremony within a 1-hour drive of the Des Moines area. If the meeting is farther than 1 hour, or if more than one meeting is required, I will be happy to meet with you for a fee (see the Costs & Discounts page).
